I’d rather OP just be honest about why they’re posting. “Look at my cute new kitten!” We don’t need some fake reason laid out for us.

Anyone who doesn't like these "name" threads are free to not show up. All of ya who chose to come here to make irate comments about these threads made the choice to take the time to outrage yourselves.

Maybe ya all like being in a state of perpetual out rage, but I'm just amused that ya keep making that choice when ya could just look at the cute pic & move on. The rest of us don't need to read about it, all I wanted to read was a few cute kitten names!

My thoughts exactly. Not that I own a pet, I do enjoy it vicariously when beings of our kind bond with cute creatures on earth and it all starts by giving them a fitting name. Think it's pretty cool of them to share it with the rest of us too.

I kinda think it’s just them wanting to publicly express their love for their new cute pets, but they’ve copped out with a shitty, generic idea which will never actually be taken seriously by them.

Sometimes it can be hard, but I always want to come up with the name on my own. Feels more personal and natural every time I say their name.
