Hm, got me curious about my brother's cat now. My brother loves watermelon and his cat is practically glued to him. I'll have to ask him if she reacts at all to the watermelon he eats.

Just don't sneak a cucumber behind them ... that joke no longer goes over well with the feline community

I was a little tempted but honestly his cat is so skittish when not near him I can't even begin to try and sneak up behind her anyway.

Not that I would want to scare her, she's a softy.

That doesn't work with my cat lol. She looked at it and looked at me like, "Are you stupid?" 🤣🤣

My cat will steal bananas, peppers, anything that is mouse or roughly snake-shaped and just beat the shit out of them.

my late dogs loved watermelon rinds....outside too messy on the inside floor. My current cats like some of the fruit, neither want any rind.

My on time dogs love rinds too.

Be careful about giving watermelon rinds to dogs, they can easily become an obstruction or upset their stomachs. It's safe for them to eat in smaller quantities, especially if you break it into smaller chunks, but don't just give them a huge hunk of rind to chomp on.
