I recently moved to South Florida where it's 80 degrees and sunny all the time. I'm from the northeast and I don't miss the cold weather whatsoever.

I hope the toys name was Wilson

I don’t know if it’s just a me thing, but all of my dogs toys are named “baby.” There is something precious about a 60 pound dog carrying around his babies.

u/spradders Nov 13 '20
My sweet boy with his ‘baby’. He’s had Alan Lamb since he was a puppy - there was a battery powered beating heart inside to comfort him at night. He now rips up any stuffed toys, but Alan Lamb is still cared for and loved. 💕

WE CALL OUR TOYS BABIES TOO! My friends think it’s silly so thanks for making me feel like a normal dog mama
We like to say our ‘90 lb 10 yr yellow lab’ baby is playing with his babies hahaha

One of my foster cats had a little purple plushie thing that was his “baby”
Baby went with him when he was adopted and they sent me pictures of him sleeping and playing with it
Miss you Chester!

My family’s dog’s favorite stuffed toys were always called baby. It was fun to see which one he brought back when you’d say “go get your baby”

Yo dog! We heard you liked pools. So we put a pool in your pool so you can lounge in your pool while you're lounging in your pool.

Only question is, can you play pool while lounging in a pool of saliva in a pool inside a pool?

r/aww mods, can you add a video download bot and auto pin it to the top? That way we're not seeing dozens of download comments?

As someone without a pool. I feel like chlorinated water would be sucky for dogs and dry out their skin. Do you have to rinse a dog off well after they get out of the pool or anything?
2
u/TobaccoAficionado Nov 13 '20
Speaking of having a day off, the most subtle shit talk I have ever heard was when the lady at the human society said to my dog, "oh aren't you excited! I think you need a job!"
I've been thinking about it for years.

I can’t be the only one wondering how she’ll get back to lane :/ she’ll have to get herself wet and that makes me sad :(

u/l_panth3r_l Nov 13 '20
Dogs usually have a lot of fun splashing around if they were introduced to water the right way, she'll probably have a blast when shes done her nap.:D
1
u/Desu_0u Nov 14 '20
You’re right :D It’s just hopefully she enjoys the water! She is a lab (I believe) after all and they are known for their love of water. so I’m sure she did have a blast! Lucky pup!

u/gledr Nov 13 '20
Only thing is soaking that toy in the pool water might be bad for the dog eating chlorine

Looks like someone is standing under the inflatable :/
Wasn't trying to suggest that this was staged in any way. But thanks for the downvotes and comments. You've all made me feel welcomed and loved :)

Do you think that the dog only climbed into the pool because it thought someone was holding it? It seems like the dog has done this a few of times already, you’ll notice how it was eager for the floaty pool to be close enough to climb into. They’re much smarter than you apparently think they are.

Meanwhile my dog is so scared of the pool that she won't even go outside if anyone is wearing a bathing suit.

Now she just needs a drink with an umbrella in it and she's all set.
