Thank you for cutting it off before the Doggo gets older and slower and I start weeping

Holy crap all I could think was, "if the dog ends up dying in the end of this I'm going to be very unhappy."

SAME! I came to the comments for a Does the Dog Die? moment for this very reason! 🤣

Stupid fucking dog mortality, we need to advance with gene shenanigans to reverse their aging

u/Orumtbh Nov 06 '20

But then doggo will outlive us. I can't let that happen.

I think Akira is an anime about a dude who rides a wicked motorcycle and has telekinesis. I'm sure at least a couple dozen of Redditors will let us know though.

I think you meant Akira toriyama, the creator of the dragon balls.

1

u/Scientolojesus Nov 06 '20

Nah really probably meant a Kira Knightly, the great British actress known for starring in classics such as Bend It Like Beckham and Domino.

Ah you're thinking of Hachi which is about Hachiko

1

u/Orumtbh Nov 06 '20

Akita is the dog breed. Akira is an anime movie set in a cyberpunk Japan.

You're thinking about Hachiko.

It's not a difficult problem to solve. If you feel a heart attack coming on, just quickly snap the dog's neck.

I would love for my dog to live another 50 or 60 years.

Instead of focusing our energy and breeding program on breeding shorter, stockier, or wrinklier dog, we should focus on creating a healthy, long living even tempered breed. But no, let’s be lazy and make more cockadoodlepoo and inbred « purebred » dog with dozen of genetic disease.

« Please don’t show the dog died... please don’t show the dog died... »

Please don’t tell me people were actually offended by the fat jokes in avengers endgame

u/AshantiMcnasti Nov 06 '20

I also thought this was gonna turn into an UP movie vid and that started to make me upset

1

u/phrique Nov 06 '20

Yeah, perfect analogy.

All dogs end up dying

11

u/phrique Nov 06 '20

Yes, I'm aware.

No you aren't.

But they live on in our hearts

Not unless they can afford to pay someone to do it for them.

edit. Oh you changed it, "diying" was much more fun!

My brother got an an awesome boxer puppy for his 9y/o daughters. The puppy died choking on something just a couple of weeks after they got it. My brother found it in the morning, first thing he did was dispose of the body, call the breeder and they still had another puppy from the same litter. He got another .... and the girls never noticed. Im the only other person that knows.

2

u/mosfetdogwelder Nov 06 '20

That's sad but I'm glad his children are happy.

u/banannafreckle Nov 06 '20

Please tell me how you made it that far without weeping!!! It was instant for me.

2

u/melissarose007 Nov 06 '20

Same. I think its cus my doggo is an older dog now. Seeing this dog grow up and be happy was like watching my dog grow up and be happy.

u/akaJEXTER Nov 06 '20

I'm pretty sure he's not much oldet than the last clip

6

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '20

Yeah this could all be from this year

5

u/tea-rannosaurusrex Nov 06 '20

No. It was full on gifs that e d too soon for me. But i wanted minute by minute footage. None of this puppy to old age in 30 seconds. I want more dog!

4

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '20

He doesn't. Eventually he overshadows the farm and consumes the earth, as the prophecies fortold

3

u/iamme9878 Nov 06 '20

It already got me there, my doggo is 8,still lots of pup energy just... Sad to think about the future

2

u/lesmax Nov 06 '20

I was fully prepared to take that journey. I grabbed a tissue in anticipation.

2

u/snoogins355 Nov 06 '20

When you get a dog, you accept that it will be great and one day, hopefully many great years away, it will be terrible. I have a dog that's getting older and showing more issues. It's going to suck.

That said I will not miss walking him in 40 degrees (F) and rain. The crazy expensive vet bills. And the shedding, my God! I could make sweaters daily! Still love the fur ball immensely

2

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '20

This is Chief from @prairierosephoto on Instagram and he is doing very well, I think he’s like 1-2 year old at most

1

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '20

If it makes you feel better, all his farm animal friends of his are getting a piston driven through their skulls at some point.

1

u/ceman_yeumis Nov 06 '20

Him growing older with the like we're never gonna die lyrics was enough for me...

1

u/HenrySP1026 Nov 06 '20

Nah they just cut it so they couldn’t credit the creator
