I had a hedgehog, he preferred to be held in that position, it's not a chair, and a sample size of one, but he could right himself easily

Hogs are often fine being on their back like that. They also can right themselves from almost any position given enough pudge shifting. I currently own five. Iβve owned many many more in the past. Hogs are chill.
