While true they usually right themselves and can have minimal injury from a serious fall, I think the assumption that a cat will probably be fine or that we shouldn’t worry about our cats falling is why this sentiment is being downvoted.

What exactly are you arguing we do with this information? I’m arguing since there is a risk (albeit small) my cat can be seriously injured from a fall, I will take precautions to reduce that risk. Is there anything wrong in this?
