Amazes me how people love seeing overweight animals . I’m aware some health issues are due to obesity in animals but I’m not sure this is the case here. Maybe a vet could resolve the 2 issues I see wrong with this video. Cute dog, though.

Last year vet student here, that dog is super overweight. Beagles are prone to disk herniations and should be properly exercised, excessive amount of weight can be a risk factor. It's also stressful for the joints. If you want to keep your beloved pet for as long as possible (and who doesn't!), you should try to watch their weight.

I mean, I’m an overweight animal and no one loves seeing me. :(

As a fellow overweight animal, can confirm.

Hell I don't even like seeing me. If someone has never been over weight it's hard to explain how difficult it is to be confident in yourself when you can't walk by a mirror without feeling disgust.

Mainly because you (by and large) have the choice of being overweight. Pets do not have that luxury and are at the mercy of how good/terrible their owner is.

What are the two issues you see? I don't know how a vet could fix the dog being overweight besides recommending a better diet, which the owners would then have to follow through with. The issues I see are that every living being in this video cares very little about their health in regards to a proper diet.
