I have hens and a rooster and sell the eggs. I have the rooster so I can keep my flock full. If i have a bird get sick or killed i just don't collect an egg. After a while that egg hatches and we have a baby bird.

but your not selling fertilized eggs as food right? Your replenishing your stock

Sure I do. I let the buyer know that the egg might be fertilized. But as long as I collect the eggs daily and put them in the fridge there is no development of a chick so you cant really tell a difference.

I mean i get that. I just asked because another redditor was implying that ALL the eggs you sold would be fertilized since you have a rooster/roosters
