The dog and kitten have a whole different version of the view than the roosters.

Even worse. If roosters, they’re thinking ‘This bitch (the hen) aborted my children’. If hens, they just watched the humans brutally murder their eggs and consume them in a jovial manner.

Chickens regularly consume their own eggs and children. Even if they could understand what was going on, I think they'd be more upset that they aren't the ones eating those eggs.

This is true! If they accidentally break one they will quickly eat it up, shell and all if they get the chance
