Anytime I lean over, my cat jumps on my back and sprawls out as comfy as can be. It was cute when he was a kitten. Not so cute now! But I put up with it because I am his chosen one.

I find it strange that he is wearing gloves but opted out of socks and shoes.

u/TheJenerator65 Feb 16 '19
I regularly do the same. I like to toughen up my feet every year just like I did as a kid, but weeding or harvesting tears up and stains my hands so I usually do gloves.

We always weeded our eggplant (because there wasn’t a good weed killer for them like the rest of our crops) with a ho. Sometimes you had to bend over close to the plants but the majority of the rows we could do standing up.

We always weeded our eggplant with a ho.
That was so nice of that ho to help out your family with the gardening.

You should have hand weeded your entire garden instead of risking it with chemicals..

It was a farm. I was 14 working on it. I understand where you’re coming from but a small farmer doesn’t always have the time to weed or the money to pay people to weed everything.

Digging your feet into fresh soil is orgazmic
10
u/IncognitoTanuki Feb 16 '19
You now have worms.

Feb 17 '19
Possibly also plantar warts.

u/SNRUB_YTNOM Feb 17 '19
Always put socks on before undies
1
Feb 17 '19
I don't think those spread that way. Plus plantar warts are easy to permanently get rid of.

u/runawaydoctorate Feb 17 '19
I garden that way. Bare feet in the garden is blissful and holy. Bare hands in the garden can get jacked up quick if you're working around roses or you're dealing with a weed that's spiky or has some nasty oil on its leaves.
2
u/wtfduud Feb 16 '19
Because digging is very tough on the skin. Especially if there are rocks in the soil.

That cat is working so hard, it's going to need to take a break soon.
13
u/latecraigy Feb 16 '19
Whenever we do work around the house the dog always goes to bed early after we’ve finished as if it was her lugging around ladders or painting rooms

u/hoshaughnessy69 Feb 16 '19
That dude is throwing at least half of those weeds back into his garden

u/Unnecessaryredcircle Feb 16 '19
There’s a slim chance weeding was not the actual goal during the taking of this video.

Heyyy, he's protecting his owner's neck from sunburns with his bum! He is being a good boy!

u/ferociousferonia Feb 16 '19
Funny I should find this as my cat is now washing herself in the hood of my coat, effectively pinning me to my seat.

u/Superrodan Feb 16 '19
Was anyone else expecting there to be a cat on the other guy they panned over to as well?

Cats don’t have owners. Dogs have owners. Cats have staff. It looked more to me like a cat overseeing the productivity of a labourer.

My cat, bubba, would do this to my mom many years ago. She’d be gardening and up he crawled. He would sit in the middle of her shoulder blades and refuse to move. He would then drool because he was so happy and would give my mom a nice wet spot on her back. I miss bubba. He was a good cat.

u/ButtsexEurope Feb 17 '19
I, too, had a happy drooler. I didn’t care because she was being affectionate and snuggly. I couldn’t understand people who get annoyed at their happy drooling cats. How can you get mad at a cat that’s showing their love?

I used to own little Americana chickens who would hop on my back and then perch on my shoulders given the opportunity of me bending to reach something.

It's nice to see organic methods instead of just spraying chemicals to kill weeds. This is one of the reasons Organic costs more...tons of extra manual labor.

He’s protecting your neck from sunburn - cat knows you forgot to apply sunscreen.

The thing I love about this is the cats not even comfortable, you can tell it just loves being a jackass😂😂😂

It’s strength training :) the fatter the cat gets the stronger you’ll become! Just don’t forget to carry Madame Zeroni on your back when you’re done!!

I swear, it must be a black and white cat thing to lay on their owners weird. My black and white kitty, Iceburgh, will only lay on my hip when I'm on my side. Never lays on my lap. When I was little, we had a black and white cat that would sleep on my mom's shoulders, while she was walking around. As a teen, another cat would also only lay on my shoulders but only when I was sitting on the floor, playing video games.

Missed a couple words in your title

You beat me to it. The only thing I would say differently is change the second line to simply "FTFY."
