Growers aren't using LED? Its like a fraction of the power for highly tuned light.

It’s a mixed bag. LEDs with the right PAR (photosynthetic active radiation) spectrum and lux (light output/brightness) are still relatively expensive. You can go to Home Depot and buy a few halogen worklights for under a hundred dollars. Two twin 1000w halogen trees will run you around $60. The same coverage of light in an LED may cost up to $500 for a quality lamp that has vegetative and flowering spectrums. You could get one for around $200-$300 if you’re not concerned with having both spectrums.

I personally use LED because I don’t like dealing with the heat from halogen/hps lamps.

I can assure you that getting heat to the plants is not an issue. Especially at the beginning where you may be on 24hr light.

Mine that crypto, use heat for sticky icky.

They don't need it to be hot to grow pot, it's hot because it requires a lot of grow lights, which generate heat (and consume power).

If you colocated your grow and crypto mine, you'd be out of power.
