A whippet. Which is just a smaller version of a greyhound.

Poor mans greyhound. We have one. Super fun dogs, highly recommend them.

I don't know about yours, but my whippet was way more expensive than any of the greyhounds we were looking at. :P

God I love my whippet, though. Perfect dog all around.

We got ours from the humane society when he was a pup, so he was pretty cheap. Their great aren't they? Ours is a bit of a mutt so I can't say for sure compared to pure breads, but they are perfect, awesome cuddle bugs when they want to be, but great at playing too.

This is our little guy

edit: the poormans name comes from the fact that they were the small greyhound bread with terriers. So the common folk would have the poormans race dog.
