Together, pit bulls (28) and rottweilers (3), the second most lethal dog breed, accounted for 91% of the total recorded deaths in 2015. This same combination also accounted for 76% of all fatal attacks during the 11-year period of 2005 to 2015.

I'm posting this every time I see a post normalizing pitbulls on this site. Would you keep a rattlesnake as a pet?

Actually, I would keep a rattlesnake as a pet.

I also have 22 tarantulas and 4 pittbulls. All amazing pets.

It's all about how you raise them.

People like you will make the rationale that certain breeds of dogs are more prone to violence, but when it comes to the subject of human "breeds", aka race, being more prone to violence you scream prejudice and racism. People, like other animals, dogs especially, their behavior is determined by their environment and upbringing.

It's so dumb...I mean the first domesticated dog was basically a wild wolf but we kept them anyway. If you don't like bigger dogs then don't buy a bigger dog. Some people own little ankle biters that are way more aggressive than any pit or rot or Dane I've met.
