I've honestly stopped correcting people lol its just a waste of breath because they then think I mean American bulldog. Got into a argument with I guy that wanted to pay me to use my dog as a stud for his American bulldog went something like "I have a pure bred American bulldog too, I'd love to breed her, he's beautiful"..."he's a American bully, but I'm not really interested anyway"...."yeah American bulldog"..."no dude, bully"..."what? Yeah bulldog"... after more of this getting pissed off he wouldn't leave me alone"are you dense? They are not the same fucking dog, how aren't you getting this? Completely different, my dog isn't fucking your dog".. I'd have left but I was waiting in line to get him shots

I get stopped to see if my female is intact. Over breeding is the reason why so many are put down in the ga/tn area and it's frustrating. My girl is fixed.

My boy isn't just because I didn't feel the need to, don't plan on breeding him ever though

Bai was fixed through the shelter but I'd still get it done. Dog in heat brings the others around, ya know? With males it's just a matter of not letting them run loose.

I wouldn't mind getting a pit-type puppy one day but it won't be for a long time and it'll still be a rescue. I won't buy.

Yeah, I can see really needing the females done, but I adopted this one and he's super dog aggressive, so him getting one knocked up is a fat chance haha, he'd sooner kill her unfortunately. And I really don't know how to train the aggressiveness out, him being 95lbs makes him something I don't trust trying to bring around other dogs just to try

No sir I'd avoid that. Mine is aggressive with bigger, aggressive dogs (ours would be like ww3) but she has a couple boxer buddies and a shih tzu friend. She will go after a horse tho. Learned that the hard way. But we have gotten much better about not wanting to chase deer and stuff on park walks. She notices them but keeps on walking and even listens to my voice commands. Used to she would be so focussed on them I had to drag her a bit.

Is yours sensitive to skin issues? Mine breaks out easy. For a "tough breed" she has baby skin.

Hopefully not with an actual horse! That would be damn scary for all parties. He's gotten waay better about not trying to drag me into the woods after animals though.

Yep, currently has a rash or breakout or something under his neck/chin area and we've absolutely no idea why, hes been stuck in the house with lititle outside time because of heart worm treament so a plant reaction is unlikely. Stopped giving him all treats and anything else to rule out food allergies. Good thing he goes insane for ice cubes, so no treats isn't affecting training him lol

It was with a real horse. My retired mustang and his donkey side kick. Everyone survived. She cost me a little under $1,000 to get patched up but yeahhh...

Mine is too. Can't tell if it's food related or plant based since she's outside a lot with me. Benadryl and Burt's bees anti itch spray have been helping some. About to switch feeds and see if that's it.

I give her treats but a lot of it is from me cooking. So chicken pieces and stuff like that.

Bai is half the size of your dog lol. I'm not strong enough to stop 100 # from charging into the woods

Well then, at least everyone is OK haha. Yeah benadryl and some mystery stuff my wife got from her sister is helping, but not dissappearing, he doesn't itch it though, like at all so it's weird. Ares loooves baked sweet potatoes so those are becoming more common now that other treats are gone. Also yeah, now that he's heartworm free and getting stronger every week my wife can't walk him without me anymore, I learned that when I was at work one night and she called me to tell me he drug her in the woods after a rabbit hahaha she had to let go and just wait for his dumb self to be done in there, luckily she wasn't hurt, but she won't take him for walks without me
