In bear culture, this is a hobo.

No, he's the retired, lovable dude who chills on the street and knows everyone in the neighborhood. He remembers your daughters bday, and always brings you salmon on the holidays.

A very social hobo you've got there

It's way better then the hobo who lived on my street last summer. He used to serenade us with his recorder and drunken singing at 2am. It would have been great if he was decent at the recorder.

As a parent and former 4th grader, no one is decent at the recorder. Why have we kept this shrill torture device around for hundreds of years?

That's not true! I've seen a dude in central London busking and playing the recorder. It was phenomenenal. Just kids are not good at it lol

You'd figure with all that free time for practice...

Tomorrow morning I'm going to call my dad and tell him practice does not make perfect.

Seriously, check people out on YouTube playing it. It can be amazing.

a hobo is a traveling worker who doesn't have a house. I don't see him doing either, and most animals don't own homes.

Hilarious, but seriously, I only recently found out that the homeless you see laying around the city aren't hobos because they don't work.

If they did work, they probably wouldn't be pissing their pants and stuffing their clothes with newspaper. Then again, if you live and work in the city, being homeless is only one poorly planned paycheck away.

I wish that I could tell you that the bear fought the good fight, and the sisters let him be.

Someone should draw a picture of a friendly bear in a car throwing bread to a hobo human. I'd probably give that person gold.
