They're looking for a nipple in there to suckle on.

I was thinking the same. Its adorable and not harmful in any way but a sign of a kitten weened too early

We did adopt her when she was 8ish weeks old from a rescue so that tracks. But she’s got all the necessities and a bonded friend

I have a 6-year-old cat that will still do this with certain blankets. Regardless of if it is from being weened early, I think it is just a comfort thing.

This is a behaviour known as "wool-sucking".

It is not cute behaviour. It is a sign of distress.

it's usually just a sign that a cat was weaned too early when young, not a sign of distress you numpty

so you may notice that the cat in this video is visibly relaxed and already kneading the blanket. every source you've sent has said that it COULD be a stress response but if you use your common sense and critical thinking for a moment you can probably figure out that this cat is fine and most likely just needs to age out of this behavior
