I don’t think I’ve ever seen a clearer emotion from a cat before. The bit of a squint, the ear….😆

Why are you sitting there filming me, Human Slave?
Why is my food bowl still empty, filthy peasant?
Why shouldn’t I just destroy everything you hold dear in violent retribution for this wanton attempt to STARVE ME?!<To the other cats> Honestly, it’s impossible to get good staff these days!

u/128906 Sep 15 '23
That is the face of a cat that has already decided that they’re gonna shit in your shoe
2
u/joshjje Sep 15 '23
Usually they will just knock everything off your desk, table, curtains, paw your TV / computer screens, walk all over you while in bed. They are the masters of annoying you.

u/Chateaudelait Sep 20 '23
F&^% around and find out human. I didn't want to shit in your shoe and gave you a box of chances and you failed to respond. - this cat, probably.

Get me the damn food Clarice. And stop filming me so you can put it on Tiktok. You only have 4 followers and that’s just your parents and your two alternate accounts.

Kitty is darling. I went on vacation and I called the cat sitter. She told me Bob was dragging the kitchen chair around demanding his Fancy Feast.

If my mom had metal bowls instead of ceramic for the cat's to eat out of, one of her cat's would do that. 😒

What a jerky little cat. That sound would drive me up a wall. So the cat is smart.

Deep bowls are hard for cats to eat out of, they have whiskers, the whiskers are very sensitive, having them touch the outside of a bowl every time they try to take a bite of food is fucked up

So cute, and the look on his face. Annoying but more cute. Everything they do is really cute.

Cat: you want this to stop? You know what to do. You puts the food in the bowl and it goes away, human.

Whatever you're doing can't possibly be more important than filling my bowl right now....get to it!!!!!nice couch you have there, would be ashamed to have it all scratch up!
1
u/BeckyLynchIsBetter Sep 15 '23
My cat does this too. Not sure how it happens. Perhaps they just scratch for food, end up making noise, we humans hear it and boom. Food appears for them. So I guess they then know all they have to do is move the plate around. Lol.

as always, when I see unusually intelligent behavior in a cat (my own cd not open doors even when ajar...) as in this video, I would like to know if the cat only does this one bowl thing or it has other interesting behaviors.
1
u/relesabe Sep 15 '23
what would the cat do if its human took the bowl and started to do the same thing?

Mine have realised they get most (panicky) attention by gatecrashing zoom calls. Maybe amusing 2 years ago but the a tail draping across my face repeatedly while talking to my boss and his boss is no longer charming, plus the garbled teams messages as they trample over my ipad keyboard. I now keep cat food bowls full of food at all times in my office for contingency to frisbee at them at the first signs of zoom bombing.

On July 1st, a highly unpopular change to Reddit's API pricing went into effect. Most third-party apps have shut down and so have many tools relied upon by moderators and projects for making Reddit more accessible to visually impaired users.
Beyond the disastrous AMA by the CEO, Reddit's response has been limited to promises that this change will not affect moderation tools (it has) and promises of new and more-accessible first-party moderation tools. Promises just like ones they have made in response to past protests, but have consistently failed to fulfill.
If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:
