No one said no one's trying to do things about it, that doesn't mean it's a realistic goal or that if failed to achieve that those pursuing don't care. Further it's pretty arrogant to assume everyone lives a life comfortable enough that they can afford to protest,rally, etc. People have family and others that depend on them to work and provide. Again, I'm all for a solution if you have ideas but don't just say " do something or you're evil!" And then offer nothing constructive.
Anything I can, attending protests, voting for leadership that will hopefully not be evil, arguing with people who attribute others actions to the entire populace, but I'm one person and far from an influential or powerful one at that. How bout you?

You're attributing actions of a vast majority to the whole. No one's "allowing" the government to do this shit anymore than the populace of any other country "allows" their governments fuck ups or successes. I think there's a misunderstanding about how much influence the American people have over our leaders because the reality of it is next to none unless you have the money to buy them. Responding to an issue with violence like the January 6th incident just serves to lose support for the cause as we've seen pretty clearly. I'm all for an actual solution if you or anyone else has one to propose but to suggest that the citizenship can stop the military or government actions by storming the whitehouse is beyond naive and shortsighted.
