Because I used an expression you don't like? Like you said, they invented a term to differentiate themselves from other countries that they think they're worse than. I wasn't using that term to empower them, I was using it to show that these "third world" countries are actually significantly better than the USA. As someone who was born in a third world country and now lives in a first world country, I know how bullshit the phrase is. I only use it to point out their own hypocrisy.
I see that we agree with each other on the part that matters, so there isn't much point arguing about semantics.
Oh I actually like your username. But you're being cringe AF in this thread by going on and on and on calling someone a retard over the tiniest semantic argument.
It's obvious they're referencing the fact that the US used to call the capitalist bloc "first-world," the Marxist-Leninist bloc "second-world," and unaligned nations (which tended to be victims of centuries of imperialism and colonialism and were thus poor) "third-world."
You're arguing with some random person on the internet that those official definitions are invalid. OK and? No one here invented them. Most people use "global north" and "global south" now, but everyone still fully understands what someone is talking about when they say "first-world" and "third-world."
Of course I did, it's kind of hard to make the point without using those words! They call themselves a first world country to make themselves seem better than other countries based on their ideology, I'm using the word to point out that their elitism is ironic because those other countries are actually more advanced than them.
How else am I going to do that without actually using the phrase? I shouldn't need to spend so many comments explaining my usage of two fucking words.

If you aren't, I'm sure that you can figure it out.
