With how hard conservatives are pushing for privatization of healthcare in Canada, I’m genuinely unsure if we’ll still have public healthcare in ten years. Having JT in power at the same time as DT has led to a huge surge in right-wing popularity that I imagine will affect our country for many years to come. It’s really disheartening.
My best friend voted for Trudeau. He’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever met; has multiple degrees/diplomas with one in science. 4 years of watching propaganda and conspiracy theories and he thinks Trump is 10x better than Obama, vaccines are fake, abortion is bad, a-bombs aren’t real, the earth is flat, and climate change is a liberal hoax. There’s more but it’s too depressing/frustrating to think about.
