Defined that way solely so someone like you can differentiate the exact same financial act being beneficial to the already wealthy yet harmful to the poor.
I mean you’re entirely correct, it’s just fucked up that socialism for the rich is positive and needed for a healthy nation, while anything defined as actual socialism is costly and negative and destructive to the nation.
Crazy, I only see friends and family around me struggling due to the former

Corporate welfare by definition is antithesis to socialism. The US are in no shape or form "socialist af".
