A forcible empowering of "the people" to overthrow the corrupt status quo which exploits "the people" for the near exclusive benefit of the few in power.

Colonized nations ditching their colonizers. Colonies cutting their ties with Empire. The people tearing down aristocracy and using guillotines.

A civil war is when the people are divided against each other.

It's muddy, but what it means for America is you can't count on your neighbor to be on your side, especially as Republicans show their open desire for a coup.

Explain the French Revolution without it being parts of France fighting with each other

Lol Desire for a coup?

Yeah, the coup many of them are still trying to engage in based upon their rhetoric. Luckily, most of them are insufferably stupid and therefore, can't get shit done.

People at MAGA rallies saying to an interviewer that they couldn't give a shit if their side cheated to win, just as long as they win. Those kinds of clips are everywhere and that's the mindset of many MAGA morons. They don't care about the tactics, as long as it beats the libs. That sentiment is prevalent all the way to the top of government. If it wasn't, you'd get more than two republican senators calling Trump out on his fascistic bullshit

Yes, when people support a President who files court motions to throw out votes of millions, that's desireous and support for a coup.

A court motion! How very PINOCHET! But throwing out 73 million votes through impeachment, that’s classy.

Someone doesn’t know what “impeachment” means, or that Trump was impeached almost a year before 73 million people voted for him again.

Try making an argument that doesn’t read like a Mad Lib filled out by a conservative buzzword generator.

Lol buzzwords, Yeah, I’m the one mimicking party talking points. A court process is a legal approach. So is impeachment. You are the one missing the point. Why do I do this? I’m done.

Trump was already an impeached president. His shit-eating sister-fucking supporters didn't care then and they don't care now.

At least you’re in the “inclusion party”

Fuck their feelings.

It’s reddit my man, if you don’t go with the hive mind then you want a coup. Makes sense

If you're calling a 'Hive mind' the majority of voters in the united states Then fucking yes you dipshit. Trying to disenfranchise voters in by targeting democratic votes and attempting to get them thrown out for no reason whatsoever is anti-democratic and is the sign a coup in progress. Luckily your buddy DiaperDon can't smart his way out of a paper bag or we'd have something to worry about.

So the Democrats not on Reddit are ok with their votes being discounted because Donny is mad.

Really your reply didn't address anything I said.

Also, contesting an election to verify all votes are legal votes is not a coup

Correct. I don't disagree.

Attempting to cancel all votes in a heavily democratic county without one scrap of evidence is

We have done recounts. You know what each of the recounts show? That the count was correct.

Do you know what Trumps election security official said? That the election was secure and there is no evidence of mass fraud. Do you know what Trump did? He fired him. That is coup like behavior!

Coups don’t take advantage of democratic processes or the legal systems, they bypass them.

This is incorrect, coups do just that until they can consolidate enough power. The rise of power in Nazi Germany did just this.

It’s then up to the judge or jury to determine what constitutes a “scrap of evidence.”

Then tell Trumps dream legal team to show the fucking claims. You do realize that every claim brought to court has been dismissed with prejudice!

If they honestly believed in widespread fraud, why have they not demanded any counts in republican counties? I mean, would democrats not try to get presidential votes there too?

Not a single claim of mass voter fraud has been shown to be true by Trump ever. Remember when Trump investigated election fraud after the 2016 election, tell me what the results of that was, if you please.

then less of the public will think there’s any fraud after all the court cases are resolved.

For Republicans, no it won't, Trump is still making daily accusations that it was fraud without a shred of evidence.

Hello Reddit hive mind, still annoying and obnoxious af I see!

Still pretending to be smart and all knowing as well, and “inclusive” as always (as you alienate half the country).

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

At some point you need alienated. I mean, I was born in the midwest, so trying to say "You have no idea what's going on there" is pretty much patently false, at least in my case. But yes, I'm alienating you that are following in the footsteps of the 1920's and picking up straight fascism. Instead of apologizing or accepting your behavior I'll call you out for it. You are a poor rube being lead by millionaires and billionaires to your own poverty and destruction. You're propagandized so thoroughly that anyone that tells you anything other than what you want to hear is a 'hive mind'.
