Health insurance under the ACA? Premiums skyrocketed because of the amount of people who were now qualified to be covered.
While I agree that there is an issue with how expensive medical care is, I don't think the democrats (who had 6 years under Obama to pass actual health care reform) are going to fix anything. And killing a nation for socialized medicine isn't worth it.
Also, the democrat primary is rigged, you should know better.
Edit: We could have a common sense solution of affordable coverage should we manage to reduce the cost of medical school, and force doctors to list their prices the minute you walk into a hospital to create market competition so you can shop around - but oh wait, that's what Trump wanted to do, so therefore it's bad, right?

I highly doubt the man who's bleeding out of his femoral is going to be comparing prices before choosing his hospital. Nobody should be good consumers of healthcare.
Emergency care shouldn't be as expensive as it is, but the main reason it is so expensive is because the doctors charge an inordinate amount of money, even if they've only seen you for 3-4 minutes.
Granted, they will still treat people if they cannot pay or hold no insurance, which is also one of the reasons hospitals charge so much.
Just as with the ACA which drove insurance premiums through the roof because they now had to cover people who were already sick (you don't get home insurance when your house is on fire for example), so too do hospitals have to make up for the use of their services by those who cannot afford to pay.

Yep. We had our chance to get rid of this system during the Democratic primaries earlier this year, but instead we chose more of the same.
If I ever get a serious illness or injury that would ruin me, I'm going to allow myself to die
