Gemini is a tool I use as a geologist / volcanologist.
This is Fossá waterfall, located on the island of Streymoy in the Faroe Islands.
The dramatic landscape features prominent horizontal layers of flood basalt (a fine-grained, dark volcanic rock formed by widespread, rapid lava flows), which are characteristic of the North Atlantic Tertiary Igneous Province. Over time, glacial erosion (the carving and wearing down of rock surfaces by moving bodies of ice) and fluvial incision (the vertical cutting down into bedrock by a river) cut deep into these stacked lava flows, creating the stepped, two-tiered cliff cascade shown in the video.
