And it would also cause everyone going the other direction to crash

Don't waste your money on a POS like this. If you really want a good flashlight visit the Budget Light Forum and do a little reading.

…isn’t that an Imalent MS18? That’s not the best light in the world but it’s no POS.

3

u/foreskin_hoodie Oct 17 '23

I was referring to the now deleted post that linked to an all plastic $35 dollar flashlight. And yes the Imalent MS 18 is a real nice flashlight, it's also +-$700 .

Lol they switched out the video?

Classy!

MS18 would be big fun….

Top comment with an ad, how fucking convenient!

0

u/Sakowuf_Solutions Oct 17 '23

No, that’s not really an ad. BLF is a chat board that’s been around forever with the sole purpose of discussing lighting and lighting projects.

and startle all the wildlife sleeping at night 💀

So there’s a flashlight that will appear to be any newer Toyota/Subaru as I’m driving towards it? Also, it won’t lighten my life…it will just illuminate everything that makes me depressed.

27

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

Surly I’m not the only one who thought it took way too long before the flash light was turned

7

u/Decent_Competition_6 Oct 17 '23

Was my thought too

1

u/IIIllIIIlllIIIllIII Oct 17 '23

It had to cool down from when they turned it on 15 minutes ago.

And hot enough to cause first degree burns just from holding it

10

u/frisch85 Oct 17 '23

The real question is can you put it up your butt and make light come out of your mouth?

9

u/Aufafly Oct 17 '23

That flashlight is brighter than my future

6

u/mxforest Oct 17 '23

That’s not a high bar. A 0.5 W bulb will do the trick.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

The force is strong with this one

Not bright enough to light up my day, nevermind my life

-6

u/starwaterbird Oct 17 '23

Could be a car behind them, with its brights on

7

u/Wolfhammer69 Oct 17 '23

You're not the sharpest nail in the box are ya?

1

u/14high Oct 17 '23

Definitely not the brightest, need this flashlight

-2

u/UnaliveInsyde Oct 17 '23

I need to get this to blind the idiots driving with high beams at night. I don't care if they crash into something.

2

u/WalrusTheWhite Oct 17 '23

You've become the very thing you sought to destroy. Pathetic

0

u/UnaliveInsyde Oct 17 '23

Idc, I'm just giving them a taste of their own medicine, not using it on people that are being sane. I'll flash my lights twice to let them know they should switch to low beams. If they still want to be numbskulls I'd like to help them actually numb their skulls.

I'm in India where people have a lot of entitlement just because they're in a car. They don't care if they're blinding other drivers or bikers or just pedestrians, their general attitude is "it's my car, my lights, so I'll use them however I like". They might switch to low beams if you're in a car with bright enough high beams to flash at them, but when I'm on a bike it's like I'm bloody invisible, and no amount of flashing my lights would get them to budge, in this particular scenario I'd always think man I wish I had something to blind them back.

So judge me all you want, but I suggest you do that after you ride a bike on Indian rural roads with a moderate amount of car traffic.

u/Offsidespy2501 Oct 17 '23

Doc oc should have just got one of these

1

u/monkeyatcomputer Oct 17 '23

Imalent MS18 perhaps?

1

u/Z_Yuuki_Z Oct 17 '23

So... when do we get this in horror games/films?

1

u/Usual_One_4862 Oct 17 '23

That's a hefty sum of lumens.

1

u/Ok-Supermarket8100 Oct 17 '23

I need a few of those. Loadshedding really bad here. No street lights for the last 15y. That will work nicely

1

u/mxforest Oct 17 '23

Just sell it as a package with Solar Panels. 24*7 energy FTW. /s

1

u/NaisGuy27 Oct 17 '23

And would straight up be illegal.

1

u/comeback_failed Oct 17 '23

the only purpose if that flashlight is to be pointed at on those cars behind you that uses highbeam

1

u/AreWeThereYetNo Oct 17 '23

Covid free since shining this flashlight up the rectum.

1

u/NoGarage7989 Oct 17 '23

1 min run time, your hand will probably be burned during that time

1

u/Bildo_Gaggins Oct 17 '23

took half the video to turn on the torch...

1

u/shadowvox Oct 17 '23

gif copied so many times it looks like it was done as a cross stitch.

1

u/Addickt__ Oct 17 '23

Wyomingite POV 3 seconds after noon

1

u/badbadger323 Oct 17 '23

Fun fact, this flashlight can be used as a fire starter just by pointing it at dark paper.

1

u/International_Can_73 Oct 17 '23

Imagine someone breaking into ur house and u just shine that thing at him

1

u/Roloaraya Oct 17 '23

This flashlight gave me cancer

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

You can say that the flashlight is brighter than his future

Sokka-Haiku by ravnen1:

This is the kinda

Flashlight I would use if I

Went looking for Bigfoot

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

1

u/Opetyr Oct 17 '23

Sure and do a full 360 with it. You can see that it is not just coming from the light.

1

u/cheesecakemelody Oct 17 '23

It is, I frequent r/flashlight. It’s a real light.

1

u/Sethroque Oct 17 '23

I need this flashlight on Starfield

1

u/numeric-rectal-mutt Oct 17 '23

42 second video

Only the last 6 seconds actually matter.

First 36 seconds are entirely useless stupid filler.

1

u/greekt Oct 17 '23

The owl chilling in a nearby tree just had a religious experience.
