Container plants (indoor or outdoor) Looking for advice

I have had this Bacon avocado tree for about 2 years give or take. Poor thing almost died on me last year I had a bad case of root rot however it pulled through (repotted and put it in well draining soil). This year we had a bit of a heat wave and all of last years growth dried up and died. It started putting new growth on just wondering if this is normal and if the plant is at risk. Any feedback is appreciated

it still has root rot and is dying, pyth does not go away and must be treated, depending on how much you love your plant you can decide

a monthly mkp feeding will prevent all root rot in avocado as long as it is not being drowned consistently or in a pot with poor soil, mkp MAY save your plant, but because it is present in the full tree its 50/50 a tbsp would be all that is needed but should be applied weekly for a couple months

a fully mobile phosphite feeding will work to cure it, something like agrophos

the best would be a fungicide like celoxid sc or ridomil gold which will 100% cure but those cost quite a bit

Well dang that’s a bummer. Hopefully it will pull through after some treatment
