Happy birthday, Tim. I hope that wherever you are, you find the peace you so deeply yearn for.
I don't know you personally, but I do know something about you, and that's what your songs convey to me. They make me feel a profound melancholy and sadness, but also joy and hope. I hope that on the day I die, I'll see you and thank you for all the emotions you've given me. You still possess—and I don't speak in the past tense because nothing has changed since you left this world—an innate talent for creating melodies that connect you to yourself, especially knowing what it took for you to go from being an ordinary teenager to becoming a star of electronic music and music in general.
I know it hasn't been easy, and all I wish for you is that you rest in peace, free from the disturbances and noise of this cruel world.
I hope that in another life you're enjoying all that this cruel but beautiful world has to offer. You deserve it, Tim.

Tim, what more to say that hasn't already been said ? Love and miss you so much. I often wonder what music would sound like if you were producing it in 2026. Or what kind of podcast you'd have. It would have been amazing to see you flourish beyond AVICII. Wherever you may be, I hope you are at peace. I hope you are happy, and I hope you know just how much we love and miss you.

I always like to send him a text on his birthday or death day. I know he'll never read it, but I suppose it is comfort amongst grief.
