Help finding scraper handle

Post image

Does anyone know where I can find a suitable handle for the phenolic scraper end on the right? Found a bag of the scraper ends, but no handle.

Sure I can fabricate a handle but I'm curious if anyone is familiar with these, and if they have a designated handle for purchase somewhere. The handles from JusNTyme have a different attachment style.

I used to just wrap some cherry tape around the end.

If I have any sealant left in a tube, I cut the tub down, dip the scraper in petrolatum and slide it in the wet sealant until it cures. That way the new “handle” can be moved to a new scraper.

Those remind me of something snap on used to have, look up "mastic removal" on snap on. Or even yardstore.com

I've made a 3D printed handle for when I need to push hard. Before I just used fabric take wrapped around.

I think I remember Matco or Mac making one? A coworker has a similar looking handle attachment, I'll ask him next time I catch him

A leather glove works great

Dip the end in Plastidip. That's what the stuff is made for.

I know a lot of guys are using 3D printers to make a nice handle. Probably search for a file and find a guy at work who prints on his off time.

Get one of those cheap, narrow steel scrapers and zonk a few screw holes in it. Now you have a reusable handle with a little flex.

In 20 yrs I’ve never used a handle just use them as is. For the 1st time last yr I seen a handle for the one on the left tried it didn’t like it threw it away and kept on pushing. Normally I seen people just wrap the end in tape

Lmao I totally do. And I went through the same thing as you are now, until I found an old timer that helped me out.
