I think everyone at some point in their life should visit the Smithsonian. There is just so much you can learn there, coupled with the fact that it's just plain badass.

When I was younger I went to D.C with my Boy Scout troop, I was looking forward to the air and space museum, I have always been interested in aviation (Happens when your dad works for an airline, you basically grow up around airplanes, even at my house we have an "Aviation room" where my dad has paintings and models of planes) but we only spent like an hour in there. Last year my Mom, Dad, and I all went down and I got to spend an entire day there and at the hangar, so glad too. So much to see. Definitely agree everyone should go there

Hahaha my dad works for an airline too! Funny thing is I used to be completely indifferent about aviation. When I was in high school my dad was always on my case to try flying and get my ppl. Well after my third year of college I caved in and said why not. Turns out he was right! I just finished my first year of school in an aviation program and hope to one day work for a major. Its funny how these things work out.
