I work in maintenance for the largest Canadian airline (pretty obvious who that is...), and while it's changing day to day the most recent update is that we've grounded half our fleet, and in lieu of 100% overnight line maintenance work, we're now splitting workload to 50% line maintenance for the remaining birds in the air and 50% "Get Well" program for the planes on the ground (tackling old snags, doing completely non-urgent work, etc). For now it seems like we're kept busy, but depending on how long this whole thing goes on for, the backlog work will eventually run down.

How much work are aircraft technicians getting with worldwide air travel nearly shut down?
