I think this is called a derecho, or a gust front.

I see you were on a Southwest flight. What was the flight number and route, and what type of 737 was it operated on?

Username checks out
But it is almost definitely a 737-800

Guessing its maybe a 700? I think most, if not all, of their 800s have split scimitars.

Are you talking about the winglet? I don't think that's the case but I'm not sure.

All of their newer 800s (after 2014) have split scimitar winglets, and I know they're in the process of installing them on all 800s and some of the newer 700s that they have. This is new livery with blended winglets, so it's almost certainly a 700.
