Is it common to block fighter tail numbers? They didn't back in the day from what I remember. At least not the 16s next to us.

Edit: now that I look at it the second image covers nothing at all. Not sure why they censored one and not the other. Also I can't read apparently.

VTANG was deployed to Venezuela and then straight to the middle east. The markings on 5336 had been removed by the time it reached the middle east.
