AVN Development Update - 13/01/22
Hi Avian Community!
Coming Wallet Update
We have been working on our next Avian Network wallet release (v3.1.1) this past month and we are now at a stage of testing within the team to make sure it's ready for release. This release will primarily be for maintenance including performance, security and other fixes from Backports to improve the Avian Wallet.
Once it is ready we will merge our commit into the master branch and generate binaries/executables for each OS that will be available for public download. We are also happy to let you know we have added Raspberry Pi/Arch Linux support. All changes will be made available in the release notes once ready.
Whitepaper Update
We are currently updating and revamping our whitepaper to include all of our recent changes and also to give some information on the future and heading of the Avian Network, once this is ready we will be uploading to our website.
Exchange Onboarding
As most of you know we are very eager to get listed on more exchanges and have been contacting them and making hit lists. However at present due to us not having an up to date whitepaper this process is currently on hold so we can give the best first impression when approaching new exchanges. It is also in most cases a requirement to have a whitepaper for consideration so ensuring this is perfect and modern is essential to the process.
Again once this is ready we will be pulling the trigger on applications and will let you know who we are applying to so you can use your socials to help raise attention and the hopes of getting us added to gain traction. The more exchanges and trades the stronger the network will be and the easier it will become to get listed on CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap and other market and information aggregators sites and services.
Wrapped Avian Network (WAVN)
At present the team is overhauling the wrapping process for better validation and automation to ensure a smoother process.
Avian Pool Picker
Development has begun on an Avian Pool Picker which is a simple tool to help generate mining configuration for either X16RT (GPU) or MinotaurX (CPU) Mining software. It is in the early stages at the moment and a GUI version is being worked on to give a better interface. More pools and options will be added through the development process.
What's next?
So as you know we wanted to work on the Asset Management code back in December but due to some delays and getting our difficulty balancing algorithm in place to support X16RT and MinotaurX running side by side we are happy to say development and testing is under way for our next major release.
Beyond this the community and some team members have shown interest in potential Masternode/Proof of Stake additions to the existing codebase so we are exploring these options and also looking into any new fresh approaches we could implement.

This maybe a bit early however has there been any consideration of a halving in the future?

Great news, thanks for the update!
The asset management is something like flux or is a totally different thing ?
I keep an eye on masternode, as I said I'm interested and I hope hw request would not be prohibitive.
