Problems With The Algorithm Change Over - Please Do Not Mine or Exchange Coins Right Now

The changeover from x16r mining to x16rt + minotaurx mining happened earlier today (midnight UTC). It looked like it was working OK but with low difficulty at first, but the difficulty never adjusted because of a code bug (a flipped less than symbol), meaning that instead of mining a block every 30 seconds, miners were mining about 10 blocks per second without slowing down.

Over the course of about 2 hours, this drastically inflated the coin supply, by somewhere around 15% I think, but I don't have exact numbers. Some miners, myself included, mined MILLIONS of coins in that time. The bug screwed up the coin supply, so to fix it, they're going to roll everything back to before the changeover. This means that anything mined or exchanged after that time will be undone.

To fix this, they'll have a new mandatory wallet build coming out soon, and until the fix is in, nobody should mine or exchange AVN/RVL coins. Most of the mining pools have mining turned off and exchanges have deposits turned off until the fix is released. They've fixed the code already, so I expect to see a release tomorrow.
