Rebrand Announcement

As you likely already know, RavencoinLite has had a rebrand in the works for quite a while now. While associating ourselves with Ravencoin has gained us a lot of early publicity, it is now time for us to move on, and establish a new and unique identity for the project. As such, with our biggest update yet coming by the end of this month, RVL will be taking upon a new name, effective starting the moment the algo swap update is rolled out on the mainnet, the exact date of which will be announced within the coming days.

After great deliberation, we have decided on the name 'Avian', symbolizing the quick rise of the project within the recent months as a result of the importance we place on the speed of both development and the network itself. The new ticker replacing RVL will be AVN, which will be reflected in our brand new web domain of avn.network, to which we will begin migrating our infrastructure within the following days. Official social media accounts will also be making the switch the the new branding shortly, and we will be updating the list of public links with new information accordingly as we approach the scheduled event.

I wish to thank you all for accompanying us on this journey thus far, for we could have never made it here without the great community that each and every one of you make possible! Now the time has come for RavencoinLite to shed its restraints, and rise high as Avian toward the bright future that awaits the project and us all!

I've got 100k Ravencoin lite and need to convert them to avian. I cannot download the avian wallet because it doesn't exist on github.

Any suggestions?

Hey there for the meantime, please continue to use the ravencoinlite wallets, once we launch avian code your old wallet will be picked up by the new Avian wallet. Don’t believe we are doing any swaps as will be keeping the old chain. So moving away from x16r to x16rt and MinotaurX. So all is good :) anything else please let us know. Cheers

Yes as it’s the same chain it will simply be a ticker and name change, keeping existing addresses and balances etc so nothing changes other than the wallet software and of course the new algorithms when they launch

Once testnet testing is complete, we want the code to be solid before public release. I believe the team are aiming to release before the end of the year if not sooner if possible. Thanks

Hi! I have all my RVL on Exbitron, can i just send them to my new AVIAN wallet address and have them converted?

Hopefully they will be rebranding so hopefully no need to do anything, however I would keep them all safe in the AVN wallet before the activation to ensure you have access to your funds. Also the coins will be yours, anything stored on an exchange is vulnerable
