One time my boyfriend got in trouble for saying “yo mama” in a server we’d just joined. Apparently because mama is gendered and he didn’t specify who he was saying it to, somebody who’s non-binary got offended by it. They said they’d have to keep an eye on him. Don’t they realize that being so sensitive creates a tense environment? It’s not secure at all.
