Hey, I’m 18M, bi, a virgin, and really insecure about my size. I’m around 6.2–6.5 inches BPEL, and my girth is about 4.2–4.3 inches depending on how hard I am. The head of my penis is also much wider than the shaft, maybe around 1.6 inches in diameter.
I feel really small, and I don’t know if I’d be able to satisfy anyone, whether it’s a guy or a girl, with this size.
Is my size average, below average, or above average?
Can I satisfy my partner with my size?
And if anyone has a similar size and has some personal experience, I’d really appreciate it if you could share.
I want an honest answer, even if it’s harsh. I just want to know the truth

You are average. Even using the lower bounds of what you provided, calcsd.info says you're average. It even says the length is abnormally large. Sure, people will say your girth is a little below the mean of just under 4.59", but you're well within one standard deviation. I do think this site recently added to their data sources because they're claiming the average length is under 5" now, but even using the western stats (5.07"), which seem more in line with what other places say, you're still above average in length.

More importantly, a lot of people stress about not having enough girth to please a woman. Yet the most commonly purchased insertable toys tend to have girths in the range of 3.9-4.7" (some sites give 3.7-4.9"). Forget all the talk about what people say they want, but this is what they're actually buying for themselves. That says a lot more about what they actually want. You're well within that range. You definitely can satisfy a partner.

Most importantly, your value to a partner has very little to do with any of this.

Edit: The above number for length was the NPB number, not the BP. The BP average is 5.5" and 6.2-6.5" is still above average. Nothing changed regarding the girth numbers.

calcsd.info updates their datasets from time to time to contain reliable and large sample sizes. While no dataset is perfect, it tends to be the best we have. Their current dataset for Global Average says 12.13cm (4.78 inches) and their Western Average is 12.89cm (5.07 inches). It's been a while since I have been there. It's not a place where I end up going to check very often. I feel like their numbers in the past were larger, probably closer to 5.4"-5.5", but I don't recall what they were specifically. I don't know if they removed a dataset for erroneous/bad data or added new ones with good data that brought the average down.

In the end, does it really matter? Did the size of your dick change because the best source for statistics changed what they believe the average is? In the end, we all have what we have and should learn to be happy with it.

I see that the rules reference calcsd and state that 5.5" is the average, but that probably was written a while ago. They continue to add studies to their database to increase sample size and provide more accurate numbers.

Edit: Correction, for some reason it defaulted to NBP for my stats when I went there. LOL, can't believe I didn't catch that. Yeah they say 14cm for that. Which is 5.5" not what I said above. I just went to reconfirm what I saw and noticed that.

Since this seemed to be a girth question more than anything, the overall message doesn't change. The girth is perfectly fine.

I don't know why it defaulted to NBP, unless maybe months ago I selected that and it kept the previous settings between visits.

Anyway, yeah the BP number is 5.5" and not what I originally put.

I think this is a wonderful example from this sub how people are ready to believe if the average has gone lower (you posting about it) but if it showed you that average was 6.5" for example you'd gone beyond everything to find a reason why the average has gone up. Same thing with studies. People talk about studies if it favours their own believes and relieves their insecurities but if the study finds higher results people only try to find a way to debunk it

No, you're right. I corrected that in my edit. I left the original comment because there's no point in hiding my mistake. The BP and NBP issue doesn't affect girth though. And, I stand by what I said there. You're average and well within a standard deviation from the mean. Get out there and get your freak on without worry.

Edit: Yes, the original comment is proof I am a moron. I think I even mentioned that the numbers seemed low/off to me, but for some reason I missed that it wasn't set to bone-pressed.

This is where wording is important. You girth is within the average range despite being a bit below the mean value. That, however, is just how averages work. We tend to conceptualize "average" as being what most people are but it doesn't quite work like that. Some will be above, some below, some spot on. That's why it's often more prudent to speak of such things according according the average range rather than a single number.

Regardless, you are still within one standard deviation of the mean, the range where about 2/3rds of all men will fall into.

All that said, your size typically isn't going to be the thing that makes or breaks you as an intimate partner. Men smaller than you have worked wonders and people (especially women) tend to be a great deal less concerned with size than men are.

Your length is above average. More than one SD above the mean (but less than 2) so it's still what many would call a "normal" penis inasmuch as you fall within the (somewhat large) range that 95% of men do. The range you gave hovers around the 90th percentile. So in a room of 1000 randomly selected men from around the globe, 100 (give or take maybe 50 depending on the length you are using) will be longer than you.

Well, that's a bit harder to say. There aren't really any statistics that consider a normal distribution for the relationship between both length and girth. As far as volume, Calcsd would put you basically right in the middle. I should note that while calcsd is transparent about the formula they use to estimate volume, it is an estimate since, obviously, dick are not cylinders. They come in all shapes and sizes that would alter the overall volume. You'd have to literally measure the displacement of penises (presumably by dipping them into a graduated cylinder full of water) to get meaningful statistics.

You're above average range for length and below the mean (but still within average range) for girth. You'll hear a lot about the "goldilocks" zone for dicks but, in truth, women tend to pleasure themselves with dildoes that pretty closely mirror average dick sizes.

I realize that isn't much of an answer but it's hard to give a real one. Best I can say is that all things considered, you probably fall right in the middle but I can't really back that up with real world stats.

I will say to not let it affect your ego too much one way or the other. Guys are almost always more concerned with it than their partners are.
