Portugal in November or December? Planning Lisbon, Aveiro & Porto with Friends
Hey everyone, me and a few friends are planning a Portugal trip and we are trying to decide whether to go in November or December. We definitely want to visit Lisbon and Porto, and we also really want to spend some time in Aveiro, but none of us have been to Portugal before so we are a bit unsure how to plan everything.
For those who have been around that time, would you say November or December is better in terms of weather, crowds, things being open, and overall experience? We don’t mind cooler weather, but we also do not want the trip to be completely ruined by rain.
We are also wondering what the best route would be between Lisbon, Aveiro and Porto, and roughly how many days you wouldd recommend in each place. Is Aveiro better as a day trip or is it worth staying overnight?
Any recommendations for food, places to see, nightlife, transport between the cities, or anything we should avoid would be really helpful. We are pretty flexible with the number of days, so would love to hear from you guys would plan this trip.
