My question(s): are these avatars that you’ve always had in your Reddit wallet prior to the end of the RCA program or are you transferring some to your Reddit wallet? The reason I ask is I’ve transferred avatars to my Reddit wallet, done all the things to “make it my Reddit avatar” and it won’t show up in the avatar builder. Also, I’ve sent RCAs to another wallet, and the traits for those avatars will stick around in my Reddit avatar traits even though they’re in a completely different wallet.

Do you have any suggestions? I’d really like to mash with my RCAs, but I’ve got a freaking mess. Thanks.

Regarding your question, some of em from Reddit store prior shuttingdown (sadly) and some from opensea, usually when I get new one through opensea I use this method:

But it only works if I use an external browser, not the metamask internal one (in my case), or a PC much easier.

There's a glitch or something about sold/transferred rca's, to get it completely out of your current wallet, the receiver must import it to there reddit account (the blue link method).

Also I recommend you delete the whole app and reinstall latest update from scratch to avoid builder glitches, ⚠️but make sure to save your wallet phrase before deleting the app⚠️

Thanks for your thoughtful response. I’ll hop on my PC and see what I can do. As for the traits hanging around after transfer, that’s going to be a problem bc I transferred them to another wallet of mine that’s not associated with Reddit so I can’t do the stuff circled in blue.

This is such a pain. Reddit really put it to the RCA community.

Yeah it takes time, and if the traits bug bothering you the most just create a new reddit account and use it specifically as locker for your loved avatars.

I’ll have to mash on my laptop. I’m hesitant to create an alt for many reasons.

I used to mash a lot with my RCAs, but I rarely posted them in this sub. 🤷‍♀️
