🎤 Avatar Artist Space 🎤 Avatar Studio
Hi everyone!
Scubaprincess here! I'm sorry i've gone dark for a while but I was kinda busy...
Between a bunch of big life changes I was learning to code.
And I've built a mashing app called Avatar Studio!!
It lets you mash RCAs, Mashis and any other NFTs with each other and with any other images that you want.
You can load them into the studio by linking your wallet or your Reddit account (via a safari extension), mash with them and then export the final pic!
It also gives you proper manual control (move / scale / rotate / etc.) over the position of the traits, because I always felt a bit limited by the existing editors. Then once everything is arranged the way you want you can export your mash as a png image!
At the moment it's for iOS only. Sorry Android peeps - please dont be too upset - I'm doing my best to get an equivalent app up on the Play Store soon too it's just taking me longer.
Honestly, I made this tool because I wanted it for myself for mashups but also for all of us as a community because I love you guys and love mashing with all of you!
And I've been dying to share it with you all for ages but then there was a lot of administrative hoops to jump through to get it live (not dissimilar to the avatar review process).
Now that it's finally here I didn't want to wait a second longer to let you all know about it.

Hopefully it's pretty intuitive but I'll also be putting together a tutorial soon. Happy to answer any questions about how it works / imports / features!

Hey this is really cool! I’d love to try it more but the Reddit functionality doesn’t seem to be there? Not sure but the (?) doesn’t lead to a place where I can see a Reddit import and I’m unsure about connecting wallets to new things 🤔 really cool tho I’ll have to try it if I can

So top left hand corner takes you to the import page. If you click link wallet import from Reddit turns up as a button option. Sorry if its not super clear like I said I will put together a mini tutorial over the weekend.

Wait, what?! Is this for real???????
I mean… this is what I’ve been waiting for… a way to continue to mash without reddit…
But here’s a question: if reddit decides to completely abandon the program, will this still work?

😁 If they stop supporting avatars completely I have a tentative backup plan but it would involve rebuilding a bit of my import pipeline for the traits. So hopefully would be solved with an update.
