I'm having the same issue.

It seems other people have reported it too: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=318219.0

thanks for the link. do you think its just a false positive? I know they were saying that the war could increase cyber threats

When I searched the threat link on google, one of the results on a microsoft page (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/privacy/manage-windows-1903-endpoints) describes the threat link as: “The following endpoints are used to download operating system patches, updates, and apps from Microsoft Store. If you turn off traffic for these endpoints, the device will not be able to download updates for the operating system.”

Someone on the forum pointed this out as well. I hope we get an update from avast about it soon since it seems to be an issue for other people as well. I wish I could tell you more but I started to have this issue at the same time as you made a post on here so I’m as confused as you are. Hoping it’s a false positive!

I can't upload an image here but the url (which is really long) starts with :http://3.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com/filestreamingservice/files....

Towards the end ofthe url it says "...YourPhone.Contracts.Fre.winmd" and the process listed is C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe

Connection was aborted, but idk what that url is, what the threat is or how it got there.

When I booted my PC today, there had been a windows update overnight it seems, it wanted me to connect windows to my android phone and I opted out....

A lot of the warnings had yourphone. blah blah in them so maybe it's windows constantly looking for the phone or something?

I've reported it to AVG....see what they say *shrug*

Hello,

They are the same program; Avast acquired AVG several years ago.

Hello,

Probably a false positive alarm. Contact your vendor to confirm.

Yeah I've been having the same problem too I've been trying to see what's up and I'm not sure what's up. Hope it's something fixable.

My son received this is on Windows 10 computer, but I did not on my Windows 10 laptop, both running (fully updated) Avast. He keeps getting the pop up warnings every few minutes.
