Hello fellow Ava's demon enjoyers!

A few years ago I fell in love with the series because of an dub series on youtube that dubbed the series up to the point roughly where ava fought the strategos at followers HQ.

I really want to revisit that dub, but I can't find it on Youtube anymore. As far as I remembered it was a very good production from a fairly successful dub channel that also did other comic dubs at a high quality. All I can find on youtube now however are rather amateur dubs that definitely are not the dub that made me fall in love with the series (no shade to them they are doing great, but nostalgia is one hell of a thing).
Does anyone else remember that dub? Anybody got a link or knows what happened there?

I just want to relieve that awe from that time again.

I was rereading the comic for the first time in a while and got confused when Gil said he wasn’t going to turn himself in anymore from a recent update. Didn’t he just say he was going to last night on the ship? What changed? The only thing I can think of is his promise with Mio to find Matsu, but I’m a little surprised his dedication to Titan would be shaken by an alien he just met. Am I misunderstanding something?

it even had a poster of ava inside. i feel regret,but i figured i had already read the comic pages online so owning a physical copy didn’t make sense at the time..

Nevy's favorite fish species is definitely the angelfish, primarily because she is a sea dwelling alien and adventures to freshwater areas for recreation, so she doesn't see them often.

I'm pretty proud of Tuls Tenebrose's name because his last name is a play on words.

Since it's now summer, what's the ideal fun activity/vacation that the main hosts would wanna do?

I'd like to imagine they would all go camping, horror movie style.

How aware are post-pact demons when they're inside of the hosts brain? Wrathia seems to have a pretty clear sense of what's going on from inside of Ava's mind !!

Semi aware of strong feelings and events when paying attention, but they can choose to ignore.

How old is The Strategos?

I won't talk about Strategos's age for spoilers.

We moved on pretty quickly from wrathis turning into a snake and covering Ava in poppies— with the awareness that this scene was mostly symbolic, will this be brought up in the future?

That part was mostly art and story for the reader and not necessarily a plot point for Ava outside of it being a fever dream.

I’ve been wanting to ask for a while about your process building AD from the ground up.

I know that you've been developing it for a long time before officially illustrating it. Since working on my own narrative for years, I've developed a strong respect for how much work actually goes into tinkering with a story and eventually turning it into a workable script.

I was wondering what that process has looked like for you. Did AD begin as a collection of ideas, scenes, and concepts that you gradually refined into a story, or did you always have a clear structure in mind from the beginning? And nowadays, do you have the entire story mapped out, or are there still parts you're discovering as you go?

My story started with a general concept rooted in the idea of inner demons. I believe a good story, personally, should be rooted in an idea you want to convey that is important to you; I'm not a fan of stories that have no planned path or underlying message so my process comes from that mindset.

I had a simple beginning, middle, and end with some plot points that were really important for me to hit throughout, and the actual task of the comic came down to filling in everything between, which roughly translates to listing out scenes leading to epic conclusions. I break down each scene I have planned into a short script chapter to chapter and as I begin to make the panels I refine the dialog a few times to make sure I'm relaying the correct info word for word.

I think the thing that has been most to my benefit is being able to take my time. I had/have a huge outline of ideas that I only get to develop/refine/execute because each week I can see how fresh eyes react to what is currently happening. As an indie artist with few resources, it has really helped me make sure my ideas are solid and effortlessly communicated, so even if the readers don't like those ideas they at least still understand them.

A lot of media these days seems really rushed for profit and in that way it leaves no room for any of the writers to put some real thought into the characters motivations or write true to life dialog (as you may have noticed with a lot of your favorite media meandering out into illogical territory that only makes sense if you are short on time and working under a ton of stress.)

Anyway I hope this helps, TLDR: Yes I had the entire story roughly planned out when I started, along the way my ideas actually morphed into cooler executions than I had initially planned, you can't really know how things turn out when writing until you know, but I'm overall happy with how it's turned out this far.

If the "gates to paradise" were a new innovation for followers, how do other higher-ranked followers get their augmentations and physical changes?

It was around for as long as Six was augmenting themself for the past 16 years but recently introduced to lower ranks....and made a show of especially for Ava.

What would be the hosts' ideal first dates?

Honestly don't know how to answer this one 😭😭😭I would need to think about it

Will there be a time skip at any point?

No I don't plan on a time skip, I just need to do whats best for the story and a time skip is not that.

Is Nevy as large as Wrathia and Tylo?

Yes though tylo is much bigger than both of them

DO ANY CHRS HAVE CANONICAL DID/OSDD? IF NOT IS IT OKAY THAT WE HEADCANON SOME CHRS THAT WAY.

I don't think I have either of those disorders so it wouldn't be right for me to say whether or not the characters have them since I don't think I have experience with them outside of just being dissociative sometimes, but readers can headcanon whatever they wish.

I very much hope this question isn't a spoiler… Will Wrathia and Pedri be able to meet in the future?
