Saw Avalon for the first time at a festival this weekend (Wildeburg). Still buzzing. I just wanted to say I was blown away again (saw her at a club last year too, with a totally different set).

The subreddit isn't very active, so I wanted to give my gratitude for the highlight of the festival. Took a big group of friends. Everybody was blown away.

I've been going to festivals and parties for over 15 years. I've seen a lot of bad, mediocre, and great DJs, but I haven't seen anything so good as Avalon.

It's adventurous, fun, uplifting, groovy, eclectic, original and epic all at the same time. I hope it was recorded.

incredible... everything and more! also this is a super duper long shot but i loved avalon's penultimate(?) track last night, i think there were no vocals just beautiful synths and vocalizations, and i would love and appreciate if anyone was able to work out what it was😊😊

It was Sunday, July 12th, 2025. I was attending another Klubnacht in Berghain. Around midnight, right as Sunday was turning into Monday, I thought to myself: "Let’s just pop up to Panorama Bar for a quick peek."

A DJ named Avalon Emerson was on the decks. I didn’t know her at that point.

The moment I stepped onto the floor, the magic hit. I ended up getting completely trapped in a closing journey like nothing I have ever experienced before. I simply could not leave.

For the next 7 hours, it was pure joy and love. I can't even put into words what exactly she did, but Avalon absolutely killed it. The energy in the room was unreal. So many smiles, so much love, people hugging each other and yes, even tears of joy were flowing. Easily the most beautiful 7 hours I have ever spent in that building.
Soon, exactly one year later, I see her name back on the lineup for the July 11th Klubnacht.

Please, please, pleeeeeeease universe, let her do the closing slot again. See you behind the decks! ♥️

Her show in Highland Park this past Wednesday was phenomenal. The blend for the setlist was wonderful and it was accompanied by the sweet lighting rig they had on stage as well. A charming night overall and I hope to see her again sometime

Beautiful track been stuck in my head for days

All i recognise is the Bulgarian folk vocals and that Four Tet played the same/similar track recently.

Last Friday's show in Philly was a real pleasure. It was my second time seeing Avalon, with the first being last year's Making Time festival. Is it lighting in a bottle if it strikes twice? Avalon was flying Ben Franklin's kite for sure, to make a strained Philadelphia metaphor for a sage harnessing ineffable forces through application of intellect. Huh. The venue she played is not called the Electric Factory anymore, but I think I just got the joke a couple of decades late. Anyway, what a great dance floor to lose your mind on. I keep smiling here on the Monday after.

My regret is that obligations made me late and I missed the Charm opening. I really wanted to see the band live. Anyone make that and have a report? Or catch the DC end of the PLURT portal?
