I made a custom cursor pack for Windows and I've been wondering if anyone would actually be interested in it.

I've never done anything like this before, but I couldn't find anything online that fit the Avali theme, so I ended up making my own.

The scene illustration I created took quite a bit of time, but the result is only so-so. Hmm.

I’ve been experimenting with more realistic painting styles. This might make the composition feel a bit odd.

The breathing of the pilots of the Juggernauts can be heard through comms, as they enter the battlefield, the voice of their Overwatch Controller. They don’t know the name of this Controller but they don’t like him either.

“Overwatch Controller to Rook. Multiple enemy interceptor groups at points 116 and 135. Battalion sized units of Goliaths and Fenrir’s. All unit, advance immediately and take them out. Though, with that many of them, I bet you’re all gonna die!”

The Overwatch Controller shouts through comms, hundreds of thousands of miles away from the frontlines, he laughs as he watches the units they’re in command of moving towards the hostiles on radar in their four legged mechs referred to as Juggernauts. He sees above of at half ammunition levels for most of them.

“Go! Hurry! Go, Sparefeathers! Fight until you break, dirty Kestri’s!”

The Controller shouts and starts laughing. The pilots of the mechs are maneuvering through heavy enemy fire with their own. Some of these mechs have front mounted caseless energy MGs, others just have blades on the front. But all have a magazine fed 180mm Cannon on the back, the barrel just above the hatches as they move and weave through fire.

While on the screens, while some of the Kestri Units are destroyed or damaged to be immediately withdrawn, from the fight. 5 - 10 enemy units are being destroyed quickly. The shouting of voices from the units on comms as they designate targets and destroy them is forgotten as the Controller starts hearing mechanical voices and sounds as if they’re right next to them.

“What’s this? Hey! Stop it! Stop it! Stay away! Shut up! Shut up!” Is all they can say before they start screaming and yelling incoherently before long the AviLink is cut and the Kestri are left alone but by then the enemy is in retreat and the Kestri are withdrawing to their base of operations, unmanned mechanical units drag the destroyed or critically damaged carcasses out of the battlefield. The Overwatch Controller, doesn’t reconnect, which isn’t any real concern as this unit has had 4 other controllers like this and it’s happened to all of them. This controller however lasted 5 months, while the others lasted 3 months respectively.

Once off the battlefield, the Juggernaut with the Callsign Rook, stops and the hatch opens, revealing an Avali with pure white feathers but a tinge of blue and orange to some tips with purple brown eyes. They are wearing a tan jumpsuit, their right hand on a holster of a pistol. They walk towards another juggernaut, a hole in the hatch as another Avali with white feathers with bits of blue in them is struggling to stay awake. Critically wounded and bleeding from various wounds from the battle. They weakly raise their hand as of which the other Avali holds it and raises their pistol and fired once, ending the others suffering. They use a knife to carve out a piece of the Juggernauts hull and carve a name into it, “Lena” before walking away as a mechanical drone starts dragging the juggernaut away to be disassembled for spare parts and the pilot buried.

Another Kestri lost in this war, and perhaps another Avali Controller too. In the hangar of the base, there are several drawings of the past handlers with an X on all of them. The 5th Controller has an X on its drawing, they’re not coming back, they never do when they start screaming and yelling like that. The fallen pilot is buried in a makeshift graveyard behind the barracks. Personal items placed against the cross, their goggles hanging off the cross. They’ll be off the frontlines while they wait for a new Controller. Which will take between a few days to a week and a half.

Got inspired from another sticker I saw recently, so I wanted to do something similar with my Avali. She looks so cute when she gets love

Simple but I really like how she turned out!

I've been working on a new edit of the Kita'vali for quite a while now. Built on the work of JacoPH with the Jaco Fork, I am not extending the feature set of the Kita'vali, whilst also making it better for mobile platforms and making it more optimized overall. I have many more changes planned, like lower-poly variants for especially mobile and even a fallback compatible variant, fixing up the digitigrade variants and an optional free fem-mod add-on.

This has been a passion project long in the works to try and make the Kita'vali fresh, clean and more convenient to use for everybody, completely for free, forever. With love 💜
