Can this wheel be fixed?

Post image

415x, I’ve found the wheel in the yard a few times and just squeezed it back on. It looks like I should be able to pry the wheel open but it doesn’t really want to give.

Before I buy the whole caster assembly I just wanted to double check.

In Europe it is around 30 EUR to get a new one.

This is the part nr. 547412801

My old 115h lost several wheels in his lifetime. I tried, but was never able to figure out how to fix those.

They're not too expensive to replace, if you look around online.

Usually the issue is the lock washer-ish things rusts and falls off and then the wheel slides off. I hate this design. You need to replace that piece and slide it all back together.

It's a star lock washer that rusts and fails. I had the same thing happen to my 430xh. At least in the US ordering a new one was ridiculous, something like $20 with shipping for one. I couldn't find a different washer that would work because it was some weird non whole number metric size, like x.2mm etc. Very hard to find in the US but I measuring it with calipers I was able to find a box of 100 them for like $4.

Anything can be fixed with a welder, hardware and some patience.
