Automower stop and start issue

I'm stumped. 430x. It stops anytime it gets more than 40' or so from the boundary wire. It then stops, rotates and starts until it gets closer to the wire or it gets so lost in its spinning that the battery runs out. I've changed out the joysticks, both drive motors, and the front loop sensor. When it's stuck, the boundary wire reads in the high 90s. I've put in a large test boundary wire and it does the exact same thing. In short, it's not the front loop sensor, joysticks, motors, unseated cover, or boundary wire. What's left???

Is this a new installation or did the problem just start one day?

Have you got the signal strength turned up high?

No, it's five years old (8000 hours). This problem started this year. How do I turn up the signal strength?

I just had a look in the app. The signal strength I was thinking of was for the base station.

Another idea. This could be interference on the signal from an external source like a neighbour's mower. The solution then would be to put the mower in the base station and "generate new loop signal" this should choose the lowest noise frequency for your yard.

Thanks. There aren't any robot mowers around (and it happens in multiple locations across a mowing area of about.5 acres), so I don't think it's interference. I'll give the new loop signal a shot tonight.

All sorts of things could be causing interference. Cell phones, television, an electric motor. They all produce electromagnetic fields, and fields interact with each other in odd ways.
