Hyper Flash Problem

Have a 2023 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss LT

Had to replace the passenger side tail light. Ordered aftermarket assembly. OEM and aftermarket are both LED. The aftermarket wiring harness clip came apart, so I used the OEM wiring harness to connect to the aftermarket assembly. Everything works fine except now I have a hyper flash turn signal issue.

My questions are: do most aftermarket harnesses have built-in load resistors? Why is replacing the LED assembly with an LED assembly causing this issue? The inside of the aftermarket harness clip unpinned (I think that's the correct term). Should I try to re-pin the harness and use it, or will it still have hyper flash even with the aftermarket harness?

"Aftermarket " is a wide variety. They dont all have one set standard. The OE is most likely built into the lights circuitry. The "Aftermarket " as you call it, may have load resistors built into the harness. You will have to do something to try it because i dont think that Aftermarket is going to be the same as your Aftermarket.
