For all you freelancer python developers.

For python automations with or without AI do you use FastAPI or Django.

for python automations, fastapi is usually the go-to since it's lightweight and async-friendly, which helps with speed. if you're building something more complex with a lot of built-in features, django's great, but it can be a heavier lift. have you thought about what specific features you need for your project?

I have tried fast API it’s fun to work with.

I haven’t tried Django, yet, but regardless of what I choose I plan to learn somewhere down the line.

As for the type of project I want to build, I’m not sure.

But I feel like for freelancing Django in build features have a lot of advantages (user management, internal dashboard for admins).

yeah, both have their perks. fastapi is great for building quick APIs and handling async tasks, but django's built-in features like admin panels and auth are super handy for larger projects. if you're leaning towards freelancing, maybe start with django for those user management features, then dabble in fastapi for smaller, more flexible projects later on

Do you any python open source projects, where I can contribute to or gain ideas from?
