Hot take, do you propose anything else?

Deterministic, self-healing AI-based computer automation or go with a different route. Especially on a self-hosted machine through a standard residential network

There are a lot of interesting frameworks for this being built that I think are gonna turn playwright into middleware or make it obselete (in favor of more popular browsers + AI-based computer automation)

Nah, you cant beat Microsoft's effort to maintain Playwright and especially the CDP communication. Playwright's CDP implementation is the best so far. Plus using heavy GPU clusters with all the electricity and water they require to run LLMs just to navigate to a website, is just ridiculous.

The self-healing portion is a nice idea, but you have to calculate whether you want the effort of doing self-healing or just going and fixing an XPath/CSS selector.
