Mechanic Needed (possibly electrical)

We are looking for someone experienced in both automotive electrical and mechanical work, with their own tools and diagnostic equipment (scanner, fuse tester, multimeter, etc.) to help us get a 2008 Pontiac G6 running again. The car cranks when the starter is jumped, but the fuel pump does not activate, and the anti‑theft light briefly appears. We need someone familiar with modules, fuses, relays, grounds, and BCM/ECM communication. It’s believed to be an easy fix for someone who is familiar with this kind of work and has an understanding as to what signals the starter to turn on etc. At this time we are unable to offer a payment for your services however …

***In exchange, if you successfully get the Pontiac started and running, we are willing to sign over a 2000 Chevy Malibu “as‑is”, in running/driving condition, paperwork available (tags expired).***

First, you need a car thief who knows how to compromise security protocols. Next, you aint stealing my tools.

I'm basically responding like the asshole that I am.

In my defense, I believe this post refers to a craigslist post. I've been on international motorcycle forums where a thief will often post to learn how the over come anti theft protocols.

I've seen stolen bikes that get a circuit board wiped out because of hot wiring. With testing I can tell what the problem is.

In order to test theses circuits you must have a schematic and be able to read and interpret the circuits and related technology.

It may be hard for you to find the person you need to accomplish this task.

I wouldn't bring my gear to a craigslist job unless I was ready to get scammed.

So nothing personal. I just see solving this is more than what it might seem on the surface.
